N2 - Application systems are characterized by a continuous increase of complexity and address users with different levels of experience. The design of assistance systems, so called "wizards", which support the analysis and handling of complex application systems, is the research subject of this paper. The wizards are customized regarding the specific design and methodology of LOOMEO, a tool for dynamic visualization, analysis and optimization of system structures. The user can apply the wizards to achieve solutions for stated problems and to reduce and control the overall system complexity.
