Abstract
Orienting devices for vibratory bowl feeders are currently designed by specialists in time and cost consuming trial-and-error driven experiments. The typical result is an automated feeding System likely to malfunction. This requires manual Intervention of workmen and such Systems represent the productivity bottleneck in many cases. This article presents a simulation-based design method to significantly reduce these deficiencies.
