Abstract
The lack of comparative dimensioning approaches often results in uncertainties and suboptimal solutions when designing heterogeneous transport systems. Moreover, due to the high complexity of such systems, analytical methods are inadequate. This paper presents a simulation-based approach, which provides cost-effective solutions for the transport system that meet the requirements of the existing boundary conditions.
