Abstract
We show that the representation of the 2 → N amplitude in the multiregge limit which exhibits signature factors and singularity structure allowed by the Steinmann relations can be reproduced by means of a few simple rules. We illustrate the rules with several examples and point out their importance for the reggeon calculus.
