Abstract
A method for determination PAH's using GC-ECD after derivatisation with bromine is presented. ECD is highly selective and sensitive for measuring bromo-PAH's. The detection limits were improved up to two to three orders of magnitude compared with FID-detection of underivatised PAH's.
