Abstract

This paper describes semi-probabilistic performance concepts for designing the durability, in terms of chloride-induced corrosion of the reinforcement, of repair measures involving the complete or partial replacement of the concrete cover with a repair material. An easy-to-use tool with design nomograms representing the functional relationship between the weighted model variables from the semi-probabilistic design approach is provided for design engineers.
