Abstract

We investigate to what extent the antisoliton of the nonlinear model, with properly defined boundary conditions, can reproduce vacuum properties of chirally bagged quarks. The antisoliton is found to give a reasonable approximation for the baryon charge and energy sector. Both the isoscalar rms radius and the total energy are remarkably independent of the bag radius for R<0.9 fm.
