Robust transmit Wiener filter for time division duplex systems

Abstract

Errors in channel state information have a significant impact on the performance of linear preceding (transmit filters) in frequency selective MISO communication links. We present a new robust optimization scheme for the design of the robust transmit Wiener filter, which is based on a stochastic error model. This general paradigm achieves an average robustness as it is relevant for physical layer signal processing.
