Abstract
Adaptable, flexible, age-based, decentrally controlled - these are some of the most important requirements for the production of the future. This results in new challenges but also opportunities for future industrial robot systems. The robotic research group of the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) presents current research on these topics in this article.
