Abstract

We searched for the νj → νi + e+ + e- decay mode of heavy neutrinos in an experiment performed nearby a nuclear power reactor in Bugey (France) using a detector consisting of multiwire proportional chambers. New limits on the neutrino mixing parameter ∥Ue32 in the mass range 1 MeV < mνh < 8 MeV are presented.
