Abstract

The motion of artificial satellites in the gravitational field of an oblate body is discussed in the parametrized-post-Newtonian (PPN) framework with parameters β and γ. Analytical expressions for first order post-Newtonian short periodic, long periodic and secular perturbations of orbital elements are given.
