Abstract
To manage the continously increasing requirements time, costs and quality during the development process of a product it is necessary to represent all information in a data model. Therefore a lot of methods exist to control the formation ofa product model. The article describes the obstacles which occur during the adaption process in industry and offers suggestions for the transmission technology.
