Abstract

Benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P) was selected as a representative for the class of PAHs. In particular, the reaction of B[a]P with ozone was investigated. Focus was on the separation of the mixture of products obtained in the reaction of B[a]P-coated soot particles with ozone and on the identification of single components.
