Abstract
The solution of the Deutsch-Jozsa problem was presented using a nuclear-magnetic-resonance quantum computer (NMRQC) method. An exponential diminishment of density-matrix elements with the number of bits, and the high cost of preparing a suitable starting state were the main obstacles to the application of the NMRQC. Variations of the Deutsch-Jozsa problem were discussed for quantum computation and for removing all the obstacles in the use of a NMRQC.
