Abstract

The positions and widths of resonances in the upper well of the linear E × E Jahn-Teller problem with inclusion of spin-orbit coupling have been calculated with quasiclassical methods. The obtained results refer to the so-called Landau-Zener parametric limiting case and provide analytic expressions for the positions and widths of the resonances. These results can be used in the framework of resonant scattering and intramolecular decay studies.
