Abstract

Typical sounds were synthesized and analyzed in psychoacoustic experiments. Fourteen normal hearing subjects participated in the experiments. It was found that manipulations (increases or decreases) in a third-octave band are realized by nearly all subjects from +4, respective -10 dB on.
