Abstract

Maintaining the performance of the human resource is becoming more and more important, especially in the laborintensive manual assembly. This is particularly evident in the increasing number of psychological illnesses. By measuring vital signs, the psychological strain of the employee can be recorded and a performance-maintaining personnel scheduling can be realized. In the following, a method for selecting smart devices to measure mental strain in manual assembly is presented.
