Abstract

The channel characteristics of indoor broadband wireless systems operating in the MM-wave frequency range have to be investigated for channel modelling. Thus measurements of the power delay profile at 94 GHz are carried out in three typical indoor environments. The arrival angles of the multipath components are analysed by using a directional antenna, which is rotated in the horizontal plane. So path loss exponents in Line of Sight and No Line of Sight environments are calculated from the measurements respectively for the delay spread, which characterises the multipath distortion.
