Abstract
Is there a new privacy, a privacy 4.0? This article reconstructs the changing face of privacy on the basis of revolutionary changes, evolutionary developments and the static insistence of data protection law through the General Data Protection Regulation. However, it also formulates a perspective in which the law not only follows social developments, but also shapes them normatively through technology.
