Abstract
This paper presents a soft-switching asymmetrical half-bridge DC-DC converter with a clamping circuit connected in the primary side of the transformer. This clamping circuit will reduce the reverse recovery effects of the output diodes, increasing the overall efficiency. Theoretical analysis of the converter along with experimental results are provided.
