Abstract

For the purpose of systematic investigations on the chemical and spectroscopic properties of alkylgermanosiloxanes the compounds (CH₃)₃SiOGe(C₂H₅)₃. (C₂H₅)₃SiOGe(CH₃)₃, [(CH₃)₃SiO]₃GeCH₃, and [(CH₃)₃SiO]₄Ge were synthesized from alkali trialkylsilanolates and alkylhalogermanes in high yields. IR and NMR spectra are reported, assigned and discussed.
