Abstract

In the present article, we analyze the production of fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP), specifically the production of components from preimpregnated fibers (prepregs), from the perspective of production planning and control (PPC). Consequently, requirements are developed, which serve as the basis for a new PPC system. Then we describe the corresponding system structure and suggest ways for its technical implementation.
