Abstract

A report on the polymer gate dielectric pentacene thin film transistors (TFT) and circuits on flexible substrates was presented. The materials and processes for the fabrication of organic TFT were developed using solution-processed, cross-linked polyvinylphenol (PVP) as the gate dielectric. The observed gate delay of 22 μsec corresponded to a maximum possible operation frequency for an integrated circuit of 45 kHz.
