Abstract

PM10 emissions derived from wood processing in Switzerland's woodworking industry were estimated using two different approaches. Input data were provided by the woodworking associations and based on a written survey of selected branches of the woodworking industry. The upper extrapolation limits estimated for national PM10 wood dust emissions were 110 t/a and 318 t/a, respectively, which corresponds to a maximum of 1% or 3% of the total national industry emissions.
