Abstract

Photochemical Synthesis of (η⁵‐C₅H₅)₂V₂(Co)₅ μ‐Dicarbonyl‐tricarbonylbis[(η⁵‐cyclopentadienyl)vanadium](V–V) (2) has been synthesized in 89% yield by photolysis of tetracarbonyl(η⁵ ‐cylcopentadienyl)vanadium (1) in tetrahydrofuran using a falling‐film photoreactor.
