Phonon dispersion in silver

Abstract

The phonon dispersion in silver at room temperature has been measured with a pseudorandom neutron time-of-flight technique using a correlation type analysis. The interatomic force constants of a third neighbour Born-von Kármán model were derived from the experimental points.
