Abstract
The computer program described here reveals the financial effects of investments for flexible manufacturing systems in an integrated way. The cash-flows in direct and indirect areas are displayed. This makes it possible to visualize the money values, the effects of flexibility, the opportunities offered by these when initiating computer-integrated manufacturing, and other benefits for the company. The computer program thus enables comprising of the financial opportunities with and risks involved in investments.
