Abstract
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma still represents a poor prognosis for the patient due to late diagnosis, aggressive spread with early metastases, high rate of recurrence after surgical resection, and disappointing results of oncological therapies, even nowadays. However, there are new developments that need to be considered. This article outlines a comprehensive overview on this tumor entity and provides recent findings concerning developments and strategies.
