Abstract

Analytic properties of the effective interaction allow us to indicate the positions of the poles of low-order Padé approximants and the domain of convergence of the series of Padé approximants. All evidence favors the conjecture that the Padé approximants will converge to that branch of the effective interaction which reproduces the model space states, if the series converges.
