Abstract

The optimization of matrix monotone functions was discussed. The matrix H with singular value decomposition H=ÛV H was fixed and was found to depend on the transmission medium. The class of matrix-monotone functions which can be expressed with the representation was considered. The performance of the MIMO system with perfect CSI under worst case coloured noise equals the performance of a multiuser SIMO system with white noise.
