Abstract
Simulation applications are used successfully in more and more fields of product development A particular challenge is the virtual commissioning; this means the early validation of the control software before the actual commissioning with a digital system model. The high modeling effort currently often hinders the use and therefore physics-based simulation systems are used increasingly This paper describes an approach to optimize the modeling and simulation in the physics- based simulation for virtual commissioning. The developed approach is finally implemented on an industrial application example.
