Abstract
A liquid-liquid extraction test stand for experiments with an extreme phase flow ratio and physical data for a new standard test system of medium interfacial tension are presented. Experiments are carried out to describe fluid dynamics and mass transfer in the column. The results show reasons for the observed decay of the column behaviour with a forward mixing model. (A)
