Abstract
The dynamic behavior of a liquid-liquid extraction column influenced by disturbances was investigated experimentally. The results fueled the modelling of a dynamic simulation program, which provides a satisfactory calculation of the non steady-state behavior of the apparatus. The experimental and calculated results are discussed in an example.
