Abstract
The influence of the vapour material on the behaviour of an expansion-type condensation nucleus counter was investigated experimentally for NaCl- and Ag-particles. Water and n-butanol were used as vapour material. It could be shown, that for water vapour there is a considerable influence of the particle material on the condensation process. For butanol vapour the condensational growth of the particles did not depend on the particle material.
