Abstract

The rapid increase setting up national and regional geodata infrastructures implies an increasing importance of standardised interoperable Web Services and Geo Casts. This paper deals with the development of a mobile query system for real estate cadastre data, which is based on OGC Web Services. It is shown, how municipal staff members will have access to distributed geodata bases, independent of their current location and time. The mobile cadastre query system allows also for location based services (LBS) as well as to display the local data of a municipal automated cadastre book. Appropriate Internet data security and data safety is currently under investigation.
