Numerical Solution of the Flow between Two‐Counter‐Rotating Infinite Plane Disks by Multiple Shooting

Abstract

Using multiple shooting techniques the two‐point boundary value problem for the flow between two counter‐rotating disks is solved numerically for Reynolds number R in the range 0 < R ≦ 20000. Relations between the two disks problem and the boundary value problem of a single disk are investigated.
