Abstract
This paper presents two novel three-phase common mode/differential mode noise separation networks, a passive and an active network, to be used in EMC conducted emission measurements of three-phase equipment. The passive network is analyzed theoretically and a prototype is constructed. Its evaluation is presented through frequency response measurements and conducted emission tests performed on a three-phase motor drive and verifies that the network is capable of separating the common and differential mode information in a CE measurement condition.
