Abstract

Examining the special model Lens=α exp{-β/(Age +γ)} which belongs to Dudzinski and Mykytowycz (1961), and was used in a study made by them to find the age of Oryctolagus Caniculus, which lives in Europe and is known as the European rabbit, with live eye lens weight, we showed that similar results can be obtained with the Gompertz and Logistic nonlinear regression models. We determined that the results given by the models are showing the goodness of fit, as a result of a statistical analysis. Furthermore we showed that adding various parameters to Dudzinski and Mykytowycz model will not change the results.
