Nonlinear excited state dynamics of J-aggregates on the femtosecond time-scale

Abstract

J-aggregates in aqueous solution are investigated with tunable fs-pulses derived from a pulsed dye laser system with subsequent continuum generation. The high time resolution of our laser system provides new results on fast processes not accessible in previous studies.
