Abstract

Genetically encoded calcium indicators are powerful brain activitysensors. Here, we demonstrate noninvasive volumetric optoacoustic neuroimaging of rapid calcium transients in living GCaMP6f-expressing mice exposed to electrical hindpaw stimulation.
