Abstract

Currently, no feasible testing methods are available which allow both non-destructive and cost-effective testing of bonded glass element modules in the automotive industry. However, ther-mography has a great potential for the detection of defects in a fast and reliable way. The scope of an ongoing research project is the enhancement of an automated thermographic testing procedure for adhesive bonds.
