Abstract
Small angle neutron scattering (SANS) and wide angle neutron diffraction was applied to characterise microstructure and magnetic correlations in nanostructured Fe. Anisotropic evaluation of the 2-dimensional SANS data allows to separate nuclear and magnetic scattering contributions and thus to evaluate quantitatively the magnetic correlations and their relation to the microstructure of grains and grain boundaries.
