Abstract

The nearly logarithmic decay of correlations was studied within the mode-coupling theory (MCT) for ideal glass transitions. The theory implies the prediction of nearly logarithmic decay of reorientational correlations for liquids of molecules with large elongation. It was observed that by the universal formulas derived within the MCT of ideal glass transitions, the evolution of Salol upon the decreasing the temperature T can be interpreted. The results show the optical-Kerr-effect (OKP) spectroscopy for two liquids by the solutions of a standard schematic MCT model.
