n-Particle inclusive distributions in the dual-resonance model

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Following Mueller's hypothesis the general formulae for n-particle inclusive distribution functions have been found in the framework of the dual-resonance model (DRM) in various kinematic regions. With the help of the cluster decomposition of the DRM amplitudes derived by Chan et al., it was possible to obtain the results in a very compact form. The model predicts a cut-off in transverse momenta of detected particles and short-range correlations.
