Abstract
Three typical cases of infections with Mycobacterium marinum are presented, initially misinterpreted as one of its differential diagnoses. Finally, the culture proved Mycobacterium marinum as the infectious agent. Resolution of disease was achieved in all cases with different therapeutical regiments. In addition to the discussion of the various differential diagnoses, a comparison to the treatment recommended by recent literature is drawn.
