Abstract

Muonic Coulomb capture ratios of Na₂O, CaO, RbO₂, SrO, CsO₂ and BaO have been measured and compared with theoretical predictions. Muonic x-ray intensities have been used to determine the angular momentum distribution of the muons for the principal quantum number n=20. A systematic variation of this distribution with Z was observed.
