Abstract

Multecomp brings together a wide array of technologies and application areas. It is a project which has run for 2.5 years and will continue to be operational until October 1999. It is co-funded by the European Commission which makes it possible for interaction to take place between textile developers, scientific experts and potential end-users. This paper presents that each of the partners involved in the project along with their main role and objectives. The companies featured are: Daimler Benz; Eurocopter; Intermarine; Aerospatiale; Hexcel fabrics; Stoll; Muller Textil; Katholieke Universiteit Leuven; Universidade de Zaragoza; and Willems and Wildenberg.
