Abstract

A miniaturized YBa2Cu3O7-x coplanar stripline structure is investigated theoretically. The field calculation, which the results are based on, was performed by means of a partial wave synthesis which took into consideration the exact field distribution within the superconducting regions. The high-Tc superconductor material is described by the two-fluid model and the London theory. Approximation formulas for effective permittivity, attenuation, and characteristic impedance are deduced from the numerical results.
