Abstract
For the analysis of the performance of a fuel cell vehicle a computer program was developed together with the Institut für Kraftfahrwesen Aachen (ika). The complete powertrain of such an electric vehicle was modelled using measured characteristic diagrams. The dependency of the total energy consumption of variations of individual components were investigated. With the model different powertrains can be optimised economically and energetically just by exchange of individual characteristic diagrams and modules.
