Abstract

This paper proposed a model predictive control based triple-phase shift modulation considering all five operation modes to enable a high-efficiency operation with low current stress of dual active bridge converters. Compared with the conventional method, this method possesses a high dynamic response and introduces a lower current stress in some operation range. Simulative comparisons with other optimization schemes verify the improvement of the proposed method.
